This Privacy Policy explains how Paymate Tenancy ("Paymate", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Paymate mobile application and related services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on your company's configuration and the features you use, we may process:
- Account and identity information, such as your name, email address, employee ID, and company code.
- Workplace information supplied by your employer, such as schedules, attendance, leave, overtime, and other HR requests.
- Device and technical information needed to keep the service secure and reliable, such as device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic logs.
- Push notification information, such as a device notification token, when you allow notifications.
- Camera input when you choose to scan a company QR code. The camera is used for scanning and the image is not stored by Paymate.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, connect you to the correct company account, provide HR and workplace features, deliver notifications, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.
3. How information is shared
Your employer or organization may access workplace information submitted or maintained through Paymate. We may also use service providers that host, secure, monitor, or support the service. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our users, or others.
4. Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Information may be stored by Paymate or by service providers in locations where they operate.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal or business requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Because workplace records are managed together with your employer, account or record deletion may require employer approval. You can submit a request through our account deletion request page.
6. Your choices
You may manage notification permissions in your device settings. You may also contact your employer or Paymate to ask about access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and workplace recordkeeping requirements.
7. Children
Paymate is intended for workplace use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
